Secure input mode
In a password field the OS cuts off the input method's composition and logging — keystrokes go straight to the field. That's why you often "can't type Chinese" there: it's not broken, it's protection.
So what if I typo?
Delete it and retype. Any tool that claims it can "fix your Zhuyin into English afterwards" is admitting it can read your password — which is far scarier than a typo.
