You get a string of Latin letters mapped to the same keys. Zhuyin didn't disappear — the wrong alphabet is just sitting on the same keycaps, and most input methods won't fix it after you hit send.

The sentence is already sent. A tool that rewrites in place can map the Latin letters back to Zhuyin through the stable key layout. When both readings are valid words, a good correction asks before it writes.

This is a Taiwan-and-macOS "mode" problem, not a Unicode gap. An input method is a state. Text is not. And password fields should never be rewritten after the fact.
